It is vital that your greenhouse stands on a strong, secure, and level base. A greenhouse base is actually best described as a plinth or frame on which the greenhouse sits. It raises the greenhouse up (usually by around 5 inches) and creates a ‘step’ into the greenhouse. A plinth greenhouse base also fits perfectly to the edge of the greenhouse frame, creating a secure and stable structure.
